At Norristown OB/GYN Women’s Center the philosophy of patient care hasn’t changed since the practice opened 40 years ago — “patients are treated like family.”

Board certified physicians John J. Fitzgerald III, D.O., F.A.C.O.G., and James L. Mollick, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., together with nurse practitioner Denise Felsenstein, R.N.C., M.S.N., C.R.N.P., continue to provide professional, high quality, compassionate patient care.

Services available at OB/GYN Associates include high-risk obstetrical care through perinatal resources; an incontinence center has been established to evaluate, treat, and counsel women who must deal with this sensitive issue; complete ancillary services, such as mammograms, ultrasounds, bone density studies, nutritional/vitamin counseling, and most recently, laser hair removal are also available.

Doctors Mollick and Fitzgerald were the first in the area to perform the Electrical Loop Excision Procedure, which they say has “aided dramatically in the evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears and cervical dysplasia.”  Additionally, they were the area’s first to perform advanced hysterscopic and laproscopic procedures, allowing for the treatment of abnormal bleeding problems, without major surgery, and facilitating removal of fibroids, ovaries, ovarian cysts, and ectopic pregnancies.  The procedure also allows for more rapid recovery.  Most patients can return to work in a few days.
